Getting around on St. John, USVI is quite easy.  One can rent a jeep or hire a taxi.  Taxi fares are reasonable and they are a great way to get around, however, if you would like to leave when you feel like it or drive miles and explore, then renting a jeep is the way to go.

Jeeps are the best way to explore the Island because, due to the hilly terrain, a car might not make it up the hills.
